Visiting Ottawa, we went for a circular walk with Al, my genial host, taking in the Rideau Canal and the Arboretum, before cutting across to the Ottawa River for the return stretch. A beautiful sunny day, with enough breeze to keep things cool. Quite a change from our UK river walking, very urban, and an enjoyable walk out.
